We are excited to announce, for the first time at Nui – Baird Beer\u2019s \u201cMeet the Brewer\u201d event: an all day event showcasing some spectacularly unique beer from Baird Beer and great comfort food from Nui\u2019s kitchen, capped off with some dank beats in the evening.<\/p>\n

Coming all the way from Shuzenji, Shizuoka Prefecture, brimming with burning passion and some of the best beer around, Baird Beer is sending one of its finest up and coming brewers, Mr. Hiromu Muraishi to Nui to showcase one of his very own beers, never drunken outside of the brewery itself, and only available to try on the day of the event.<\/p>\n

On the day, the team at Nui will be working alongside Mr. Muraishi, who will be personally pouring his own creation, giving you the rare chance to hang out with and speak directly to the brewer. Nui\u2019s kitchen team also has prepared, epic Nui style banh mi\u2019s to accompany the beer. DJ Taichi and Machiko will lead the event into the evening, so there will no need to go home once the sun sets!<\/p>\n

The event will be happening of Sunday the 24th of March. It will be casual and fun, and oh so very tasty, so don\u2019t hesitate to drop by and say hi, and indulge a bit in some epically awesome food and drink.<\/p>\n

Cold Wind Schwartz
\nStyle: Schwarzbier \u2013 A Black beer that originated in Bavaria in Southern Germany, that due to various brewing techniques, is classified as a type of lager. Although not nearly as gaudy as a pale ale or an IPA, it was a popular beer in Japan in the past, and Mr Muraishi\u2019s nostalgia induced soft spot for it has lead to the creation of \u2018Cold Wind Schwartz\u2019. A first time at Baird Beer, Mr. Muraishi has used Cold Steep Brewing techniques to take away any burnt or astringent flavours often mistaken as hop bitterness in dark beers, making for a clean, easy to drink dark beer with crisp flavours of fresh coffee.<\/p>\n
